Progress Virginia Education Fund, Blue Ridge Abortion Assistance Fund, and Shift are partnering with All Access 2016 to create All Access Cville on Saturday, September 10, an event to show support for abortion access. It will be a fun night full of music from the John D’earth Quartet as well as speakers including Dahlia Lithwick and Dr. Emily Young. The event will also feature people sharing their abortion stories and why access to abortion is so important. Tickets are free, so join us to speak up, speak out, and show the world that abortion rights supporters are the majority and will be heard.

Dr. Frances Casey, Director of Family Planning Services at VCU in Richmond, will talk with us about medical and surgical abortions and the many pieces of the experience including the counseling process, the sedation used, the pain involved, and the length of the procedure. Basically: What to expect.
The meeting will be in the parlor of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church and there will be ample time for discussion and questions.
The location is wheelchair accessible. If you have other accessibility concerns, please email us.
